The Composites/CAD Engineer would be joining this prestigious brand as the continue to grow in a competitve worldwide marketplace
Reporting to the Senior Naval Architecture team, your role would focus around the continual review, development and documentation of composites processes and drawings for the production department. Duties include:
– Creation of BOMs for Composites production
– Construction drawings and work plans
– R & D on behalf of your department
– Production Support
With regular interaction across multiple departments, you'll be expected to work on behalf of your team to ensure works are understood and amended in line with all department requirements whilst also being an instrumental employee when it comes to suggestion on new process, production or design ideas. 
You'll be degree educated or similar within either naval architecture or marine engineering, exhibiting a keen drive to succeed and work towards Engineering Council professional status. You'll have a strong understanding of FEA software and also of regulations and requirements related to composite manufacture. 
Further skills not required but desirable, would be experience working with Siemens NX software and some hands-on composite manufacturing skill.

They have identified a number of roles across the company that will require further staffing, with one such role being for Electricians 
The role of the Electrician will involve a wide range of different duties, from running of major cabling throughout the vessels through to final setup of various on-board electrical systems. This could include running cabling for the engine bay, to wiring up lighting within a master stateroom. In order to be successful in this position you will need to be able to display a keen eye for detail and presentation, and also be able to work quickly and efficiently. Whilst the role is a marine focussed role, we are open to considering non-marine candidates, however you will need to hold a suitable electrician qualification, such as City & Guilds or 17th Edition

We are looking for an immediately available Assistant Boat Yard Operator for 3 weeks’ contract starting from Monday the 27th of March until Friday the 14th of April on a temporary basis covering 2 Boat Yard sites Swanwick and Warsash.

Hours of work are from 8.00am to 4.30pm

The role will also include some maintenance work, which is mainly preparing, priming and painting wooden and steel fixtures.

Hourly rate:
£8.50 – £12.50 per hour depending on experience.

Please note that the top end rate on offer is for a fully qualified and certificated operator or equivalent and the lower rate is for a non-qualified candidate but with banksman experience from either the construction or logistics sectors of industry or ex-military backgrounds.

You will be responsible for leading the growth and strategic development of three locations, Penton Hook, Windsor and Bray that form the MDL Thames Marinas.
Directing the normal day-to-day operations of the marinas through the management teams at each site, you will ensure the highest standards of customer service are achieved and the customer experience exceeds expectations.
You will be able to demonstrate proven leadership skills from a background in a parallel industry. Management experience in hospitality, leisure industry, holiday parks, tourism, theme parks or similar would be suitable.
You will be a skilled influencer and a role model for others, communicating well with the various operations teams as well as customers, stakeholders and senior management both verbally and written.
With project management qualifications and/or practical experience, you will have the ability to think and plan for change. You will have in mind the 5-year strategy plan and can propose and execute plans to attract commercial tenants to the groups Thames marinas.
Working with the QHSE manager, you will ensure delivery of operational process and company systems in accordance with the quality management systems of the MDL Way.
You will have pride in the Thames sites and have the ability to effectively delegate to develop, empower and motivate staff to ensure the best presentation of the marina sites and excellence in customer service at all times.  
With prior P&L accountability, you will be able to budget and formulate pricing policies, taking full P&L responsibility of the newly combined account. 
Salary

As Operations Manager – Support, you will support the Director or Operations in managing the day-to day running of all of the groups marina sites and help to roll our new and continual development and improvement projects. Paying particular attention to evaluating schemes as proposed by marina managers, providing emergency management cover and overseeing operational budgets.
You will come from an operational management role in a leisure and customer facing environment. Ideally from a Hotels/Hospitality or a leisure/holiday environment.
As operations manager – support, you will be a motivated, proactive and positive individual with the flexibility to work at multiple locations and with the occasional weekend/bank holiday required. You will work well under pressure and have the ability to multitask effectively, prioritising your workload.
You will have good experience with profit and loss, preparing and submission or CAPEX applications, project management, the relevant IT and team management and leadership skills. 
Paying a keen attention to health and safety across all operations, you will assess and develop all company procures in line with legislation, regulations and policies. Ensuring all marinas are compliant through training and auditing.  
Degree educated or similar in a business-related discipline, you will also have undertaken management and/or project management training. as a proven understanding of the day to day running of an operational business and a good modern day understanding of today's commercial needs as driven by the customer requirements. You will have experience in driving change and putting together proposals with financial consideration and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
Customer service is key, and you will be able to demonstrate positive interaction with customers and demonstrate what excellent customer experience looks like.

You will apply the quality management systems and closely manage productivity by leading, developing and motivating the marina team.

Taking pride in your surroundings, you will ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out along with routine maintenance to ensure all sites are safe and kept at a clean tidy and presentable standard at al times.
You will ensure that all company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements and industry regulations are being adhered to at all times.
You will hold weekly staff meetings as well as brief each daily shift, coaching staff to monitor customer satisfaction as well as undertaking appraisals and ongoing performance monitoring for the team.
