MARINE ENGINEER / TEAM LEADER

They currently have an opening for an experienced Marine Engineer to join their expanding team.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4/5 years in Marine Engineering, and be familiar with brands such as Mercury, Volvo and Suzuki.

MARINE ENGINEER

Our client, a family run business in the South West of England, is currently recruiting a Marine Engineer to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a small team of Engineers, and must have the expertise to lead them on a daily basis.

Manufacturers of Professional Workboats in GRP and Aluminium, our client is in the process of expanding their production team.
The role will involve carrying out installation, commissioning and servicing activities to a variety of marine engineering systems.

Candidates will ideally hold a technical marine engineering qualification or a time served apprenticeship within the marine industry. A minimum of 4/5 years within the industry is required, along with extensive industry and professional knowledge.

Candidates must hold a full, clean driving licence and be computer literate – knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programmes is necessary.

MARINE ENGINEER - SOUTH, UK

We are UK distributors for Caudwell Axis Drive, TRAC stabilisers, thrusters and hydraulic systems, Maxwell windlasses, and Lombardini Marine engines together with being main dealer for MAN, Perkins Sabre, ZF, Kohler,  Avon/Zodiac and Simpson Davits.

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Marine Engineer to carry out service, repair and overhaul work on the major brands we represent including MAN, Lombardini, Perkins Sabre, Kohler and ZF.

To be successful in this role you will preferably have experience of the brands we represent with manufacturer training and a professional qualification. You must work to the highest standards un-supervised and accept responsibility for your work. You must have strong problem solving and diagnostic capabilities together with knowledge of marine electrics, engine management systems and general boat systems. An uncompromising approach to quality of work and customer satisfaction is required.
Working from our Southampton office the job is based mainly along the South coast but you must be able to travel within the UK and overseas when requested.

They are totally flexible on the amount of experience as its really down to the individual candidate. They run a rota system 5.5-6 days in the summer for instance during their peak period. They provide bespoke services from design & supply, to installation & after sales support of marine electronics & entertainment systems.

We have a vacancy for a Supervisor in our Electronics Department. The successful applicant should have relevant knowledge and experience of marine electronics.
