Purpose of the Position

To develop, maintain and grow the demand and sales of marine powergen engines and package solutions (Onan and Cummins) in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales
•    Meet or exceed the sales and margin plan for marine powergen engines and package solutions (Onan and Cummins).
•    Provide customers with prompt and accurate technical information.
•    Provide customers with prompt and accurate commercial information and quotations.
•    Conduct regular, planned and documented visits to existing and potential customers.
•    Create and maintain account plans for targeted, existing and potential customers.
•    Create and maintain customer support plans for targeted, existing and potential customers.

Installation Quality Assurance
•    Oversee technically complex projects from conception to completion.

Sales Administration
•    Liaise with the Cummins Marine Centre to ensure that customer requirements and contract conditions are met.

•    Work with CUK’s Aftermarket Sales Department and Onan to assist in the identification and development of Onan dealers in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
  
Corporate Performance Cell Reporting
•    Establish and submit the Distributor Annual Operating Plan (DAOP).
•    Establish and submit the monthly Sales and Operating Plan (S&OP).
•    Submit monthly business updates.

Upward Reporting
•    Contribute monthly to the sales opportunity tracker.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - £30,000 pa – LONDON, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION       

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.  To oversee the day to day maintenance and servicing of all vessels
2.  To service and maintain all electrical systems on board vessels
3.  Ensure all faults and repairs are logged and reported.
4.  Ensure that any work carried out is fully reported
5.  Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations
       
MAIN ACTIVITIES:

    * To ensure that all vessels electrical systems are fully safety checked in line with the company and statutory legislation.  This includes all ships alarms.

    * Ensure all craft are kept in service wherever possible, by ensuring effective and efficient maintenance is carried out at all times by prioritising maintenance and where possible, carrying this out during ‘down time’.

    * To assist the Engineers with mechanical maintenance where appropriate.

    * To undertake all electrical repairs to the vessels whilst they are being serviced.

    * Carry out planned, preventative maintenance on vessels as instructed by the Chief Engineer and / or the Mechanical and Technical Director of Engineering.

    * Ensure that the correct uniform and safety equipment provided is worn at all times.

    * Ensure that all equipment used is kept clean and replaced at the end of shift, to ensure all teams have access to the correct equipment to be used.

    * Work as part of a full engineering team, ensuring that all work carried out is reported to the Chief Engineer and / or the Mechanical and Technical Director of Engineering.

    * Ensure and maintain a safe and tidy working environment for the individual and the wider team.

    * Provide and promote the highest level of customer serviceContinuously seek ways to improve personal, team and business performance

    * Ensure that you comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practice as required by current legislation and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and practices

This role is based within the marketing department reporting into the Group Marketing Manager. Working to maintain and develop 2 primary websites that are central to the group's organisation, alongside many smaller bespoke websites, central to this role is increasing traffic via improved search engine rankings.

This group includes the largest boat sales networks in Europe and one of the UK's most respected boat yards. This is a new role to bring a concerted focus to the group's online presence. Some departments have recently benefitted from significant SEO improvements, but those less well maintained require a similar impetus. This role is being created to increase the level of traffic to all sites within the group.

The role will manage the day to day content requirements of the various websites within the group, implement and manage ad hoc and ongoing online marketing campaigns, and maintain the brand guidelines of the group on the web.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the internal discussions regarding the future digital development of each department. Experience of working on or managing web projects as well as working with design agencies would therefore be advantageous although not essential.

Eleven months are spent in Southampton and one of the summer months is spent at our Greek water sports centre.

This will be the fourth year we have run this successful programme. We believe it is the single best way to get a head start in our industry, not only do you emerge with a far wider array of qualifications than any fast track course but you benefit from a year's full time work experience and you do not have to pay for any of the training.

Their software engineers enable the latest intruder alarm systems, integration, and global tracking systems.

Following successful development and exciting contracts recently placed they are expanding their team of installation engineers and managers.

Assisting the project manager in running a team of installation engineers you will have specialist knowledge of marine security systems.
This will ideally be aboard Superyachts however a background from military and offshore industry such as oil and gas is also very relevant.
You will have solid experience and training of installing marine electronic products and relevant software integration; along with operational experience of key systems such as Galaxy.

This is a very diverse; challenge and rewarding role; working on Superyachts and other commercial craft based worldwide, areas include but not limited to Caribbean; Netherlands; Mediterranean

You will also have experience with navigation and communication equipment in both recreational and commercial market. Working with leading Manufacturers such as:
