MARKETING MANAGER (WATERCRAFTS) – £60,000 - £65,000 - CANADA

JOB DESCRIPTION  

With its own brand of watercraft and sports boats, our client is one of the world's largest pleasure boat builders. They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their Marketing team in Canada.The successful candidate will work within the Marketing team, and report directly to the Marketing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Analyze and understand business wholesale and retail dynamics to define trends and insights in order to develop appropriate business strategies to reach targets (Market share, retail sales, etc).
    * Build Brand image to increase Brand equity and ensure it is properly executed within all the communication material that reach consumers (Brand consistency).
    * Supervise the development of all strategic marketing material (Brochures, TV spots, Print ads, videos, etc.).
    * Manage external agencies relations.
    * Lead cross-functional team (sales, sales admin, shows, PAC) regarding brand strategies, and ensure endorsement in order to have an integrated approach and coordinated implementation of marketing tactics.
    * Coach, supervise and develop team members while sharing expertise and ''best practices'' with other Brands.

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Bachelor's degree in Administration (Marketing would be an asset)
    * Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
    * Minimum of 3 years in managing a team
    * English language is essential (French would be an asset)

Candidates must:

Primary responsibilities include:

DIESEL ENGINEER/ TECHNICIAN - £21,000+ - SOUTH, UK

Tonto Marine is an established family run business with multiple franchises, located on the River Dart, South Devon.   The company deals mainly with leisure craft, servicing, repairs, and general maintenance of motor cruisers, power/sports boats up to 500 hp and yachts, in addition to engine, boat and parts sales. 

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time experienced diesel engineer/technician to join our expanding team.  

Our ideal candidate will need excellent engineering skills and experience, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.   You will be responsible for producing the highest standards of work as expected by our customer base. 

Essential requirements: sound knowledge of installations, various drives configurations including stern drive.  Minimum of 5 years experience in the marine industry.  Clean driving licence.

Desirable: knowledge and experience in petrol inboard and outboard engines.

Main job responsibilities will include the following:

Boat Shows

Organisation and presentation of all marketing components relating to boat shows, including but not limited to: Genoa, Monaco, Fort Lauderdale, Antigua, Abu Dhabi, Cannes.

    * Applications for securing yacht berths and stand space.

    * Co-ordinating designers and contractors for stand design, production, build, set-up and break-down.

GRADUATE PROJECT ENGINEER - SOUTH, UK

At this exciting stage of growth with new orders of 60ft and 70ft yachts you will be joining a dedicated team; primarily involved in the fitting  motor yachts.

Working experience with motor yachts in a production line environment is ideal.

Candidates must have Engine and Electrical Equipment Installation experience, ideally with Volvo engine.  Must also have experience fitting of all inboard systems including Plumbing, Electric wiring, and Hydraulic systems
