Scorpion RIBs have been based in and around Lymington since 1996 and build a range of high quality World Record holding RIBs from 6.5m to 11m and we sell them all over the world, as well as being an official support sponsor for the new BAR Americas Cup Team.
Due to expansion and development we are currently looking to recruit an experienced fitter in our production facility based on Ampress Park, Lymington.
The main duties will include fit out of new Ribs to include all deck fittings, teak decks, engines includes gauges and console fit out. Any electrical experience along with laminating knowledge would be advantageous. Marine fit out experience is essential.
The successful applicant must be able to work under their own initiative to very high standards, as well as with being a part of the team within the Fit out department who are an integral part of the whole Scorpion production team.
Immediate start available
Starting Salary £10-£11 per hour, based on 41 hours per week.

You will be required to maintain and repair steel hulls, aluminium hulled RHIB's, GRP hulls, inboard diesels, conventional shaft drives, jet drives, petrol outboard motors, all associated electrical, electronic, hydraulic and control systems and equipment.
Candidates must be willing, adaptable, conscientious, tidy and thorough in their work and be capable of diagnosis, fault finding, scheduling and carrying out repairs as well as routine services and winter maintenance including painting, varnishing etc. Other engineering or associated duties as and when required
