One of the best known boatbuilders in the UK is expanding its excellent Production team. Due to increased orders across the range, there is a strong requirement for skilled individuals to join them immediately on a permanent contract.
One area that currently requires additional staffing is the Engineering department. You will be working on a host of different areas of the build from shaft alignment and fitment of main engines and systems, to working with hydraulics, and internal systems and mechanics. 
Whilst this is a marine business, we are open to applicants from a non-marine background. 
You will be working as part of a large team, so will need to be able to work well with others as part of a team, but also be able to be left to your own devices. 
The application process will consist of a short face to face interview as well as a trade test of roughly 90 minutes to ensure your skills are of a suitable standard for the quality of workmanship required.

One area that currently requires additional staffing is the Carpentry department. Responsible for a host of duties than include the fitting of major bulkheads, interior furniture frames, and also the final fit furniture itself, you will need an incredibly keen eye for detail and be able to work methodically to ensure fitment is impeccable
Whilst this is a marine business, we are open to applicants from a non-marine background. 
You will be working as part of a large team, so will need to be able to work well with others as part of a team, but also be able to be left to your own devices.

A luxury boatbuilder based on the South Coast requires a Junior Draughtsperson to join their growing teal producing a range of high end vessels
This role will focus on drawing updates and also on the catching of 'in build' information for the existing and increasing range of vessels that this customer produces.
You will need to be well versed with Autocad 2D and Rhino 3D Softwares, and be confident working with them to an excellent standard. Further more an understanding of Composite boatbuilding and/or metal fabrication would be advantageous, along with a strong interest in the marine sector. 
Of emphasis is that this is a very junior role, that will in time develop and become design focussed, but would suit an individual who has recently qualified from a technical college or alike. 
This is a permanent position and will be for immediate start, with interview slots available w/c 23/11/15

You will also be expected to think in a cost-saving and economical manner with your day to day activities. You will ideally have worked for a minimum of 2-3 with a production boatbuilder across the interior design spectrum

Working on a range of leisure vessels with either inboard or outboard motors, you will be a marine engineer with 3 or more years experience working with the likes of Mercruiser, Volvo, and Yamaha plus many more of the mainstream brands. 
 
Experience with marine heating and electronics would be beneficial.
 
A proactive, tidy and personable individual , you will be comfortable working with both colleagues and customers. 
 
Salary:
 
£24,000 -£30,000.pa. by way of an hourly rate.
Based on a 40 hour week with some additional overtime and weekend working required.

Superyacht Marina Berth Sales Executive required to drive berth sales of this beautiful Superyacht haven in the Mediterranean as well as offering ultra, high-end, luxury estate with the berths. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for adhering to the sales strategy, the reactive and proactive sales activity, delivery of services, products and offers to exceed customer expectations.
The port provides many 5* provisions to the Superyacht community from berthing, fuel and electric to parking and storage, to a members only club, a gym, restaurant and commercial offices.
The main focus of this Sales Executive is to maximise sales and long/short term lease of yacht, super yacht berths and the properties attached.
The clientèle serviced at this port are UHNW super yacht owners and their wealthy charter guests – you will deal directly with Captains, Superyacht Managers/management and Owners.

  • Adhere to strategic Sales and Marketing plans to increase berth sales and leasing, whilst supporting the other business requirements and communicate it to directors, managers and staff.

E-Commerce/Social Media Co-ordinator required to maintain the online activity of this well renowned company functioning in the Leisure Marine industry.
It is imperative that you have a passion for yachts, sailing and/or being out on the water in general. All of the company’s employees are avid sea-goers and it will bode well to gelling with the team and enjoying the role.
The role will require you to maintain and update all of the company online activity, which includes:
Website Maintenance – Ensuring web content is up-to-date, uploading new articles and content.          
N.B. Not coding.
E-commerce – Updating the company’s internet shop with products, prices, sales, etc. ensuring all details are current and correct.
Ebay – Uploading and managing the Ebay shop, similar to the E-commerce duties.
Social Media – Actively maintain the company’s social media presence.

Ideally you have experience maintaining a website; adding data, articles and able to troubleshoot minor problems liaising with the website developer to address any issues. Experience in running an internet shop and Ebay shop is also crucial to the role. It is necessary that you be able to demonstrate your experience with social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook as well as be able to introduce new platforms.
This role is an immediate start and would suit a recent university graduate.
