Alongside the main site in Poole, Sunseeker International also operate a second smaller site in Portland, Dorset. Within this site there has been identified a number of opportunities for GRP Finishers.

Sunseeker GRP Finishers work in close-knit teams to finish and repair hulls, decks super structures and, small moulds for boats sizes of 48 to 155 feet. 

The successful candidates will have previous experience in reading technical specifications for glass mat, resin and gel types, assessing environmental conditions, selecting, measuring, mixing and applying gel coat by hand.  Finishing gel coat by hand and using a variety of tools including orbital sanders, long boards and blocks.   Trimming GRP, working at height and the inspection of own GRP components for quality forms part of the role, as does housekeeping and maintenance of working areas.

As the ideal candidate, you will have worked extensively with in a similar role either in a marine or non-marine setting, being able to work well without supervision to a high standard. The site is very busy, so at times you will be working closely with other trades within a close-knit team. 
Offering a 'booster shift' of 48 hours per week (optional), there is excellent earning potential backed up with a strong benefits package including healthcare and pension scheme.

The successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, be familiar with different paint types, have the ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions, have knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and COSSH systems and adhere to Health and Safety practises at all times.

An experienced Product Marketing Manager is required to join a busy team based from our client’s Head office in Plymouth.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to take responsibility for promoting core marine electronics brands including Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad/B&G and Furuno.
You will be responsible for ensuring products are correctly positioned and presented to both trade customers and sales force. The successful candidate will be astute in recognising which products sell best, highlighting trends and developing promotional/pricing strategies.
Ideally you will have a degree level education and a marketing rather than technical focus with previous marine industry experience.
 
You will be required to attend various promotional events, Boat Shows and Supplier presentations.
 
Key responsibilities include: 
• Develop comprehensive marketing strategy for core marine electronic brands 
• Work with manufacturers to understand their product and promotional strategies to leverage within your own campaigns 
• Work closely with the creative team to produce marketing materials to assist the sales team and resellers, providing content for B2B website, newsletters and social media
• Monitor product reports to detect trends and take corrective action 
• Work alongside Purchasing to set up new products and manage stock levels 

Remuneration: 
Negotiable based on experience.

Proficient in answering emails and with a successful sales history you will have previous marine experience or knowledge of the marine industry. Product and sales training will be provided.
 
Key responsibilities include: 
 
• Telesales for both existing and new products to existing customers 
• Work with Product Marketing and Business Development to target new customers 
• Handle customer phone and email enquiries from our B2B and B2C websites

A leading Superyacht builder within the Dutch Superyacht scene has recently contacted us due to a need for a number of high level carpenters to join them on a 10 week contract. 
Based in one of the major international yachtbuilding hubs, this brand require 5 Carpenters who have worked within the Superyacht industry to carry out a range of Carpentry work on a particular project, with a deadline of Week 12 2017.
You'll have gained experience working either in the UK or Europe with a number of high end names, with your standards only ever being the very highest and your work ethic being to not stop until the job is done!
On offer is a strong hourly rate. Whilst accommodation is not provided, the employer is more than happy to assist those coming from outside of the Netherlands in securing this however. 
Salary:
Salary of £23-25/hr to be paid weekly.

The role:
The role will be primarily focused on covering the east and north of England with a focus on retail, service and OEM markets. Predominantly field based there will be regular office based sales meetings to ensure that the support is provided within the team which will be aligned to the successful candidate final location.  The role will be responsible for both existing business, from a large customer base, while also focusing on new business development within the geographical area.  Knowledge of the industry and people will be beneficial although not essential.  A good knowledge of sailing or commercial marine experience will help the successful candidate.
 
The position will be reporting to the UK sales manager and will form part of a larger team that is focused on increasing market share. 
 
The candidate:
The successful candidate should be career minded and enjoy a challenge. The ability to travel within the UK and being away from home several nights a week will be essential to the role.  Degree level education is beneficial although not essential and an attention to detail and a passion for product based sales will aid the successful candidate once within the role.

Our client, the UK’s largest distributor of marine electronics, is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to open new channels and drive sales for new products and exclusive brands.  Reporting to the Sales Director and working alongside the Product Marketing Managers you will exploit existing market channels and target new market sectors.
 
This role is an excellent opportunity for a self-managing sales professional proficient in time management and with a proven track record in sales. Previous marine experience or knowledge of the marine industry is preferred and ideally you will hold existing relationships with marine market distribution channels.
 
The role will encompass both office and field based activities so location can be flexible. Regular travel to the Head office in Plymouth will be required.
 
Key responsibilities: 
 
 Business development and sales for new products and exclusive brands 
 Work with Product Marketing to understand new product potential and to develop sales strategies and promotional strategies
 Monitor sales reports to detect trends and take corrective action where necessary

-Hours of Work: 
8.00 to 5.00 Monday to Thursday (0.30 each day paid at over time rate) 
8.00 to 4.30 Friday 
9.00 to 12.00 one Saturday every 3 weeks on a team rota (paid at overtime rate) 

-Rate of Pay, Pension and Holiday Entitlement 
The annual salary for this  position works out between £20,100 Plus overtime and bonus and £23,100 plus overtime and bonus.
 
Company Pension Scheme contribution. 
28 days of paid (8 hours) holiday
