Currently, we are in the process of recruiting a Technical Sales Associate for our Yachting Devison to be a part of our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible in developing and creating new clients; manage existing customer network.
2. Works closely with Sales/After sales Department inorder to achieve best services and on high standards level.
3. Assist in effective coordination, communication and dissemination of new and refurbish projects in process of proposal (RFP), deliveries, stores and technical coordination in a timely manner.
4. Liaison with Marketing Department in the development and promotion of marketing activities, events such as Boat Shows.
5. Support on market expansion for product line within GCC countries.
6.  Performs other job-related duties on demand as per requirement of Head of department.

Qualifications:

1. Background in Marine Equipment with experience in yacht industry.
2. Certified RYA yachting with background in yacht industry is an advantage.
3. Knowledge in Marine equipment Navigational, Communications and Safety.
4. Motivated to build a client base for the new product and existing product lines.
5. Must be willing to travel and work at times, should required flexible schedule and support during off hours.
6. Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels.
7. Young, energetic, target oriented, dynamic, and with good organisation skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:        


  •     To oversee the day to day maintenance and servicing of all vessels
  •     To service and maintain all electrical systems on board vessels
  •     Ensure all faults and repairs are logged and reported.
  •     Ensure that any work carried out is fully reported
  •     Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations

                        
MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  •     To ensure that all vessels electrical systems are fully safety checked in line with the company and statutory legislation.  This includes all ships alarms.
  •     Ensure all craft are kept in service wherever possible, by ensuring effective and efficient maintenance is carried out at all times by prioritising maintenance and where possible, carrying this out during ‘down time’.
  •     To assist the Engineers with mechanical maintenance where appropriate.
  •     To undertake all electrical repairs to the vessels whilst they are being serviced.
  •     Carry out planned, preventative maintenance on vessels as instructed by the Chief Engineer and / or the Mechanical and Technical Director of Engineering.
  •     Ensure that the correct uniform and safety equipment provided is worn at all times.
  •     Ensure that all equipment used is kept clean and replaced at the end of shift, to ensure all teams have access to the correct equipment to be used.
  •     Work as part of a full engineering team, ensuring that all work carried out is reported to the Chief Engineer and / or the Mechanical and Technical Director of Engineering.
  •     Ensure and maintain a safe and tidy working environment for the individual and the wider team.
  •     Provide and promote the highest level of customer service
  •     Continuously seek ways to improve personal, team and business performance
  •     Ensure that you comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practice as required by current legislation and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and practices
  •     Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is received and easily understood

The role will be varied and interesting, whilst concentrating on parts sales you will also be responsible for stock control, parts ordering, stores housekeeping and stock taking. You will also assist with enquiries for service, repair and maintenance work and when required new unit sales of inboard and outboard engines.
