JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge and proven experience of operating boat lifters and similar machinery, be familiar with forklift operation and have practical boat handling skills. Experience using counter balance forklifts for dry stacking would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided.
The job role also requires the successful candidate to carry out general maintenance work on site and to ensure the yard is kept clean and safe.
Applicants should have good verbal and written communication skills, have a practical 'can do' approach, be able to work without direct supervision, and able to deliver high standards of customer service.
SALARY
Salary dependent on experience; approximately £18,000 - £22,000
Based on a 40 hour week, with weekend's on a rota basis with time off in lieu. On occasion a degree of flexibility relating to working hours will be required.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
