JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful applicant will prepare participants on bespoke programmes for employment in the maritime industry. You will ensure that industry guidance is delivered in a co-ordinated fashion and is fit for purpose, assist with the administration of the UKSA Careers website and jobs list, particular focus on building relationships with local marine industry employers and providing an excellent service to external and internal customers.
Candidates should be experienced and/or have good knowledge of the marine industry. Skills and experience should include:
Working with and/or instructing young people and challenging individualsExcellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Confidence to speak in front of large groups
High level of motivation, a self-starter and decision maker
Ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm, positive with clear thinking
Excellent written English and attention to detail
SALARY
Permanent position
Salary circa. £17,000 p.a. dependent on experience
37.5 hours a week
