Marine Resources is the Leisure Marine Industries’ No1 Company for International Recruitment Services and has launched its exciting new Sales Coaching services today, 27th April 2010.

Teaming up with Master Sales Coach Stephen Tierney, together they have specifically designed a variety of bespoke coaching options for the Leisure Marine Industry.  Tierney is an internationally respected Master Sales Trainer and Persuasion expert with over 15 years experience in sales environments and over 7 years as a successful sales coach and trainer.

Tierney, an expert in persuasion and influencing skills comments, “I have worked with a number of marine companies now and really enjoy the industry.  From what I have witnessed there is a lot more marine companies can be doing to increase their sales. We are coming out the back of the recession and there is plenty of opportunity for marine companies to surge ahead of their competitors providing they are selling in the right way.  I'm really looking forward to working with more of these companies in the near future".

Marine Resources Sales Coaching is aimed at marine based sales companies who want to increase sales fast through training their sales people in the latest high level persuasion and sales tactics. Tailored to individual marine businesses, the Sales Coaching service offers 1:1 coaching with a particular sales person, a full sales team and even during important sales periods like boat shows or open days.  The team is also available to present at seminars, conferences and at boat shows.

James Ward, Managing Director at Marine Resources said" I first met Stephen when we hired him to come and work with our Recruitment Consultants and Job Advertising Sales Team.  We knew he was very good but we never could have imagined how quickly we would see results. Completely impressed with the work he did with Marine Resources, it was time to consider how others could benefit too through the tough times. There are not many marine businesses out there right now who can say they don't need to sell one more boats or maybe one more page of advertising in their magazine per month.  We are convinced that Marine Resources Sales Coaching will help achieve this.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Managing Director

James Ward, Managing Director of Southampton based Marine Resources Recruitment Ltd, was this week presented with the coveted Young Entrepreneur of the Year award by Boating Business and the Marine Trades Association at the Southampton Boat Show.

James, 29, founded Marine Resources in 2003 and has maintained the company as the industry leader in specialist marine recruitment services ever since, achieving rapid growth year on year.

Record Month For New Jobs

Proof that the marine industry is starting to recover may finally be here. The level of recruitment is always a good sign of what is going on within an industry and last month we saw our marine clients place more Staff Direct vacancies with us than ever before!

Staff Direct is our job board and advertising package that we offer to companies who wish to handle applications themselves. You can identify Staff Direct jobs on our home page or Hot Jobs newsletter by the client’s logo being used in the advert. (Please remember, we cannot put you forward for these jobs ourselves and if you are interested in them you must apply directly to the client.)

We’ve also noticed an increase in the number of clients that are committing to Marine Resources as their primary source of candidates for future vacancies. This is great news for all of our registered jobseekers as you will be the first to find out about all the very best jobs within the marine industry worldwide.
