OEM SALES PERSON – SOUTH WEST, UK

Our client is a well established, family run marine parts manufacturing company based in the South West of the UK. Due to continued expansion they currently have a new opening for an experienced OEM Sales person to join their busy team. The role is office based with some time spent on the road visiting clients.

MARINA MANAGER – MIDDLE EAST

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:

Computer Skills:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - £30,000 - LONDON,UK

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.  To oversee the day to day maintenance and servicing of all vessels
2.  To service and maintain all electrical systems on board vessels
3.  Ensure all faults and repairs are logged and reported.
4.  Ensure that any work carried out is fully reported
5.  Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations
       
MAIN ACTIVITIES:

    * To ensure that all vessels electrical systems are fully safety checked in line with the company and statutory legislation.  This includes all ships alarms.

    * Ensure all craft are kept in service wherever possible, by ensuring effective and efficient maintenance is carried out at all times by prioritising maintenance and where possible, carrying this out during ‘down time’.

    * To assist the Engineers with mechanical maintenance where appropriate.

    * To undertake all electrical repairs to the vessels whilst they are being serviced.

    * Carry out planned, preventative maintenance on vessels as instructed by the Chief Engineer and / or the Mechanical and Technical Director of Engineering.

    * Ensure that the correct uniform and safety equipment provided is worn at all times.

    * Ensure that all equipment used is kept clean and replaced at the end of shift, to ensure all teams have access to the correct equipment to be used.

    * Work as part of a full engineering team, ensuring that all work carried out is reported to the Chief Engineer and / or the Mechanical and Technical Director of Engineering.

    * Ensure and maintain a safe and tidy working environment for the individual and the wider team.

    * Provide and promote the highest level of customer serviceContinuously seek ways to improve personal, team and business performance

    * Ensure that you comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practice as required by current legislation and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and practices

    * Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is received and easily understood

TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT – MONACO

Our client is a leading Yacht Brokerage, Charter and Management company, with offices worldwide. Due to significant expansion, they are currently looking for a Technical Superintendent with 4-5 years experience for their Monaco office.

Role and responsibilities 
The Technical Superintendent will deliver yacht management and support services to a designated group of yachts and their owners, reporting to the Technical Manager and the yacht owner. Such work may be extended to include project engineering and/or management if required.
The Technical Superintendent is also expected to be a resource for the vessel in terms of local knowledge and technical expertise in problem-solving in whichever area of the world the yacht is operating.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
The principle operational and administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Technical support to yachts for refit/repair and planned works, including:


    * Shipyard work/refit planning including major refits/new builds;
    * Budgeting and supervision of works;
    * Arrangement and attendance at Classification surveys;
    * Spares sourcing;
    * Negotiating shipyard contracts, subcontractor and vendor agreements,
    * Tracking cruising schedule;
    * Crew recruitment and management.
    * Operational management and supervision of yachts, including:
    * Implementation of our client’s  procedures and Safety Management System onboard;
    * Ongoing monitoring of each yacht’s compliance with required legislation and guidance thereof;
    * Arrangement and attendance at Flag state surveys and audits;
    * Emergency response, accident report follow up;
    * Insurance claims handling.

Requirements

    * A background in Engineering or Naval Architecture
    * Preference for seagoing/yachting experience;
    * Primarily office based on Monaco with regular travel
    * Project engineering/management may entail extensive time at the yard for the duration of the project;
    * Languages are a plus;
    * Preference for candidate already resident in area.
