An enthusiastic, hard working person with a positive attitude and a "can do" approach to life is required to answer sales enquiries and provide sales support to our field sales team. This interesting and varied job involves primarily dealing with sales leads and enquiries, coordination of engine sales orders, liaison with our head office, managing after sales and dealer warranty matters, and working at boat shows.

Applicants should have an active interest in marine diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and electronic installations, different boat types and boat construction methods. A formal education in these subjects is not essential and it is likely that relevant experience will be more useful.

Product training will be given. A good command of English and an excellent telephone manner are essential. You will be responsible for dealing with trade customers, end users and overseas colleagues by e-mail, letter and telephone. Main responsibilities: Instructors and water center managers who will ensure customers get a great experience and who contribute holistically as part of a team.

1. Academy

a. Product Structure: Improve and customize the Learn to Sail and Learn to Powerboat course as per the need and level of the students (adults and children). These include dinghy courses as well as keel boat courses
b. Conducting the courses as per the schedule
c. Writing reports and feedback
d. Customer relations through the course to ensure expectations are met
e. Sourcing new customers - helping the sales team to talk to customers to sign up


2. SAILIENCE and SPLASH programs

a. Managing all on water operations: skipper, instructing, rescue, beach management as per the program design

SAILING ASSISTANT - £6.00 ph - WEST SUSSEX, UK

A prestigious sailing club based in Chichester Harbour requires a Sailing Assistant to support the Club's sailing programme and assist in the on-water racing and training events.

Main duties:
To assist in providing support for Club sailing, training and racing events; to help maintain Club owned boats; operating the Club's launch to provide a ferry service to members boats; keeping the dinghy launching slipways safe and weed free; other minor maintenance tasks; assisting the Sailing Manager in running on-water coaching sessions.

Pre-requisites:
Essential:
1.  Physically fit, as some lifting and moving of heavy equipment is necessary.
2.  Practical experience of driving RIBs and/or small power boats 3.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team 4.  Ability to use own initiative.
5.  Cheerful and helpful demeanour.
6.  Must be able to swim at least 50 yards unaided.
7.  RYA Dinghy instructors Qualification

Desirable:
1.  RYA Level 2 Powerboat qualified.
