The ideal candidate will need to have a strong grasp of the day to day runnings of a yacht as well as excellent operational skill. Excellent attention to detail, flexibility to travel across Europe, and strong interpersonal skills will all be important character requirements of the successful individual. 
With one of the current fleet in build and vessels travelling to a mixture of international destinations, there will be elements of international travel required. The role itself is located in Monaco, at the heart of the Superyacht world, so living with a commutable distance is of course advisable.

As the Aftersales and Warranty Parts Manager, you will be working with a number of KPIs in order to clearly demonstrate growth and development of the department across the board. With your team you will evolve an online parts ordering solution that will offer customers a simple and effective means to source items, whilst also creating a number of different 'service packs' and encouraging the use of brand-originated parts as opposed to third party products. 
Ideally from an Automotive or Aerospace background, you will have extensive managerial experience working with both customers and dealer networks, and be confident in developing a department through multiple KPIs. You will be used to running a team of advisors, and confident dealing with customers at all levels, offering expert advice.

A formal education in these subjects is not essential and it is likely that relevant industry experience will be more useful. Product training will be given. 
 
A good command of English and an excellent telephone manner are essential. You will be responsible for dealing with trade customers, end users and overseas colleagues by e-mail, letter and telephone. You should also be computer literate, preferably with experience of MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
