Due to continued expansion, this busy boatbuilder on the South Coast is in need of further addition to its Design and Engineering team.
The Production Engineering and Mechanical Draughtsperson will work within the overall manufacturing facility in order to assist in the constant development and streamlining of production techniques, whilst also working on structural calculations of various metal structures involved in the production process.
You will work with the various internal departments and external suppliers in order to suggest and impliment improvements in the production process in terms of quality, cost and timescales, and will become an integral part of the production team.
Degree qualified in a marine specific Degree, you will understand the concept of boatbuilding well, and be able to draft and design to a strong standard using Autocad, Unigraphics or Siemens NX. You will also need to be fully educated and have a strong understanding of FEA
This role would suit either a fairly recent graduate with some professional experience, or alternatively a more experienced individual.
