An opportunity has arisen for a technical sales and support person to work in our UK office based in Hamble.
This interesting and varied job involves primarily dealing with incoming sales enquiries, implementing mailing campaigns, following up campaigns by phone, handling technical enquiries, coordination of engine sales orders, liaison with our head office, managing after sales and dealer warranty matters and working at boat shows.
Applicants should come from a sales background and have a good general knowledge of marine diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and electronic installations, different boat types and boat construction methods. A formal education in these subjects is not essential and it is likely that relevant industry experience will be more useful. Product training will be given.
A good command of English and an excellent telephone manner are essential. You will be responsible for dealing with trade customers, end users and overseas colleagues by e-mail, letter and telephone. You should also be computer literate, preferably with experience of MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
