A busy Shipyard in Turkey require 2x Production Project Managers to join them on a permanent basis. As producers of both Sail and Power vessels, they require a Project Manager to cover each side of the business. 
As a medium volume builder, the brand work at a high pace, producing high quality vessels to a strong standard, but to strict timescales and budgets. 
You will ideally come from a background with a volume producer in one of the British/French/Bavarian yards and be able to maintain a high level of productivity from your team at all times, operating with meticulous attention to detail. A technical and hands on understanding is a must, as is people management. 
You will act as a point of contact between design, production and finance, being able to provide clear updates on various critical points of the project, providing valuable input, and implimenting new ideas and suggestions in order to improve results. 
This role is based in mainland Turkey, and so as such will require relocation. There will be a level of assistance required in this instance.
Salary:
Equivalent to £50-60,000 + a relocation assistance package

Known for building luxury vessels for the international market, this employer is growing its design team to coincide with a new model going into production
You will be skilled in almost all aspects of Design, from Concept through to Production Drawings, and be able to take an idea from paper to water. A creative mind is essential, as is a technical grasp of Design Engineering, as you may migrate from one project in Concept to the next working on the design installation of an on-board system. Being a senior member of the team you will also from time to time be expected to work with more junior members on other projects. 
An excellent grasp of Autodesk Inventor is a must, with further experience with Solidworks considered a plus. You will have worked with Composites ideally in a performance vessel background, and be used to being a point of contact between Design Studio and Production floor.

You would have overall responsibility of to develop the new Watersports Centre and Multi-Sports Community Hub at Seaham Harbour Marina, ensuring effective delivery of all sports activities and initiatives.
 
We're looking for people who have previous experience of;
 
  • Managing and delivering water sports based activity programmes
  • Sport/club development, ideally in water sports based activities.
  • Project management and partnership working, ideally in sport and 
  • leisure environment.
  • Project monitoring and evaluation 
  • Be committed to excellent customer service and passionate about sharing their love of sport with the residents of Seaham. 
  • Be prepared to work regular evenings and weekends.

You are comfortable discussing technical specifications and be able to communicate in the correct sailing terminology, professionally – hence the reason you must be an experienced dinghy sailor.
You will be responsible for managing warranty issues and problem solving.
You will be personable and comfortable speaking with people face to face and over the telephone.
Furthermore you will be required to update website content and Facebook/Social Media feeds, as such you should be computer and social media savvy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with account coordination, sales coordination or logistical experience and a passion for sailing, particularly dinghies. Maybe you are a dinghy instructor, sailing instructor or race dinghies regularly.
