SUPERYACHT SENIOR BROKER – LONDON, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Our client is one of the leading Yacht Brokerage and Management companies within the Super Yacht Industry.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Broker, to be based in their central London office.

The role will involve managing the London office, and running a team of 3/4 other Brokers (Charter & Sales).

If you are a motivated, enthusiastic Superyacht Broker with a good Sales track record, then we want to hear from you. 

Candidates must have:

-          a minimum of 3 / 4 years experience as a luxury yacht broker

-          an established sales record and listings base

-          a good knowledge of yards, yacht builders and designers

-          self motivation, dynamism and flexibility

        -          fluent English (other major European languages a plus)

 The position requires leadership and decision making skills, creativity and the ability to develop talent.

The successful candidate will be part of the London sales team and will report to the Commercial Director, Europe.

ELECTRONIC ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGERS – 2 YEAR CONTRACT, EXCELLENT PACKAGE - NIGERIA, AFRICA

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a world leader in providing specialist global marine security systems.  They cater for a variety of high end clientele including the Superyacht, Megayacht, Shipping and Oil & Gas industry.  The types of installation includes the latest intruder alarm systems and global tracking systems

Having recently won a large contract providing security systems to various oil platforms in and around Nigeria they now require highly experienced Marine Electronic Engineers with Project Management experience to lead teams of between 5 – 10 Electronic Installation Engineers for a 2 year contract.

Candidates Must:

•    Be qualified Marine Electronic Installation Engineers experienced with navigation and communication equipment in both recreational and commercial markets.
•    Have extensive Project Managment experience whilst being able to run teams of Engineers and continuing to be very much hands on with the installations themselves.
•    Have worked with leading Manufacturers products.
•     Be able to re-locate/be based in Nigeria for 2 years
•     Have experience of working outside home country for long periods of time
•    Speak excellent English

Previous experience of installing security systems would be a significant advantage but not a necessity

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a well established Marine Electronics company, with offices throughout Europe. They are currently recruiting for a Sales Representative to manage Sales in the South of France, and Northern Italy (Toulon to Genoa).

Responsibilities:

- Direct sales to yachts of over 25 metres – this will involve contacting vessels in ports and marinas within the sales area

- Sales to Management companies – development of relationships with main yacht management, charter and brokerage companies.

- Partner sales – actively look for potential partners in specific sectors

- Marketing

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales person to develop their career within the marine industry in the South of France.

Candidates must already be located in the local area, and have good contacts within the yachting industry.

Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support from Head Office. 
Candidates must be fluent in English, and have a good level of French. Knowledge of the Italian language is considered an advantage. 

SALARY

Basic of €20,000 - €24,000 + commission

SALES MANAGER – SOUTH, UK

Our client is one of the most successful and well established tender builders within the Superyacht industry.
They currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join their Hampshire based team.

The Sales Manager is one of the top 3 management positions within the company, and is a pivotal part of the business. Due to the size of the management team the Sales Manager role is varied and requires a broad skill set.

Key responsibilities include:

• New vessel sales: Answering incoming enquiries, discussing specifications, intended use and reviewing options. Constructing offers and negotiating prices. Raising and negotiating contracts of sale.

• Through build customer management: Keeping in contact with the client during the build of their vessel, informing the client of progress, discussing changes and confirming detailed requirements. Customer handover and acceptance.

• Forward sales: Contact with yards, project managers, captains and crew on forward requirements. Strategic input on pricing structures, range development and offered options.

• Marketing: Strategic input on marketing material, presentation, shows and web marketing. Contacting and visiting potential clients, builders etc. Keeping contact with the media. Exploring market opportunities and openings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with an in depth knowledge of the Superyacht industry.
Candidates must:
• Have significant experience within the Superyacht industry
• Have a proven track record in Sales
• Have good contacts within the Superyacht industry – Captains, Owners, Management companies, Yards etc
• Be based in, or willing to relocate to Hampshire on a permanent basis
• Be eligible to live and work in the UK

SALARY

£40,000 - £50,000 pa depending on experience and background

UK SALES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an experienced UK Sales Manager for our UK based client.
They have recently launched their new boat in the UK, and need an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Manager to manage the Sales and Marketing.

Duties:

• Identify potential dealer network throughout United Kingdom
• Negotiate dealer partnership agreements
• Manage existing dealer network and agree targets
• Manage on –line inquiries, allocate to dealers, track responses and ensure final outcome
• Conduct boat demonstrations in consultation with dealer network
• Identify Boat Show program in line with the budget capability
• Undertake boat demonstrations and participate in boat shows as agreed
• Ensure marketing collateral is well targeted including brochures, DVDs and web site
• Identify cost effective avenues for marketing through various media outlets

Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to manage dealer/channel partners
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively unsupervised for long periods of time
• Demonstrated ability to meet set targets on time and within budget

Desirable Skills:

• Understanding of the UK Marine Industry
• Knowledge of the Marine Dealer Network in the UK

CARPENTER/FITTER

A recognised manufacture of luxury motor yachts are looking for experienced fitters with engineering and carpentry experience join their expanding production team

At this exciting stage of growth with new orders of 60ft and 70ft yachts you will be joining a close-nit team; primarily involved in the fitting of the customs orders of the varying motor yachts.
Working experience with motor yachts in a production line environment is crucial to this role.

Candidates must have Joinery & Carpentry experience whilst  working on yacht interiors, a previous background in cabinet making would be advantageous.  Experience of working in a production line environment is an important factor.

Quality and enthusiasm to follow the job through to a high degree of finesse are primary qualities required to fit into the team and evolve with the company.
