The position of Supplier Quality Assurance Manager is based on company growth rather than replacement, showing that Sunseeker are continuing to grow in the competitive international market. This is a key role as the company continue to grow and will cover a range of duties, including:
– Implementation of corrective procedure
– External supplier relationship management
– Team Leadership
– In-house training and team development.

Picking up the customer request at point of sale/negotiation, your role will be to collate all specific information in order to give exact answers of feasability, cost and pros/cons of the customer request before the order is made. This could be custom furniture, structural changes, electronics, propulsion or entertainment. 
Your role will work across a multitude of departments, from sales to design and onto production. You'll need to be negotiate at all levels, but also talk from a position of knowledge in order to ensure request are fully satisfied and leave no room for error. Furthermore, you'll not only work internally, you'll also speak with external product suppliers to specify customer requests. 
As an individual you'll be a bright and analytic character, thinking through each project you're assigned and devising innovative ways in which each request can be completed. Our Client, Sunseeker International, a global manufacturer of luxury motor yachts based on the beautiful south coast of England are currently recruiting for 8 Laminators on a permanent basis for an immediate start in Portland Dorset. Ranging from 48 to 155 feet, all Sunseeker craft are built to an exacting standard of quality and refinement, which has elevated Sunseeker to be the leading designer and manufacturer of luxury motor yachts across the globe.
The role includes reading technical specifications for mat, resin and gel types, prepare moulds (cleaning, repairing and usage of release agents), assess environmental conditions, select, measure, mix and apply gel coat by hand and other duties in line with the role.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working to a high standard of finish, high attention to detail, a desire to work in pressurised, fast paced, construction environment, flexibility with the ability to adapt to varied tasks, be punctual and reliable.
