INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER

International Sales Manager – required to oversee and expand a trusted dealer/distributor network in delivering a market leading product to a demanding, high-end, luxury market as well as selling in to the boat design, Superyacht refit and semi-custom boat manufacture sectors.

You will have experience dealing with distribution networks internationally as well as have a good understanding of the international boat design and boat building sector to drive new sales opportunities throughout your EMEA and RoW remit, with a strong focus on Europe.

You will build a good understanding of the market share and competitors activities.

A Mechanical / Electrical engineering background is highly beneficial, as to understand the product and a level of support is to be given to both the sales team, dealers and distributors throughout Europe, Middle East and Rest of World.

You will work closely with the CEO and management team to understand areas within the global market to penetrate, assisting in the set up of new partners/sales representatives, providing full training and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Global Distributors / agents for the General Marine division.
Build relationships and create sales opportunities with semi-custom Boat Manufacturers.

Key Skills / Requirements

Candidates can be home-based but must regularly report to the UK office.
A valid Passport is crucial as the role requires a high level of international travel.

Technical Superintendent

A well known name in the world of Superyacht Management currently are currently looking to add to their international team, with a number of roles based in the UK.

A Technical Superintendent is required to offer technical support and information to the existing managed fleet, with the help of the Fleet Manager.

This role will focus on supporting the existing fleet, generating monthly reports to the various teams worldwide and also working alongside the new business team in order to generate increased revenue.

Ideally you will have a senior level engineering background aboard either commercial vessels or large superyachts, and ideally have worked in a similar technical management role.

You will need a strong grasp of regulations including ISM/ISPS, SOLAS, STCW and more. Further more as you will be working with both technical teams, owners and their representatives, you will have to be versatile in the manner in which you approach all situations.

This role is a permanent role that will no doubt result in international travel from time to time. You'll need to be within commuting distance of London, and be able to be in the office regularly.

We currently have a vacancy for qualified Marine Engineer to carry out service, diagnostic, repair and overhaul work on site and at our workshop and to assist with engine testing in our dynamometer facility testing engines up to 2000hp. To be considered for this position you must have completed a Marine Engineering Apprenticeship and ideally attended manufacturer training courses provided by industry leaders such as Volvo Penta, MAN, Perkins and Yanmar. You will require experience of equipment and systems on boats of up to 45m and ideally of the engine and gearbox brands we represent.

You must have excellent problem solving and diagnostic capabilities together with knowledge of marine electrics, engine management systems and general boat systems. You must work to the highest standards un-supervised and take responsibility for your work, an uncompromising approach to quality of work and customer satisfaction is required. You must ideally reside local to our Southampton office which will be the main place of work, although operating from other branches may be required. The job is based mainly along the South coast, however when required travel within the UK and overseas with nights away is a requirement for this position.
