A Technical Superintendent is required to offer technical support and information to the existing managed fleet, with the help of the Fleet Manager.

Ideally you will have a senior level engineering background aboard either commercial vessels or large superyachts, and ideally have worked in a similar technical management role.

To be considered for this position you must have completed a Marine Engineering Apprenticeship and ideally attended manufacturer training courses provided by industry leaders such as Volvo Penta, MAN, Perkins and Yanmar. You will require experience of equipment and systems on boats of up to 45m and ideally of the engine and gearbox brands we represent.
You must have excellent problem solving and diagnostic capabilities together with knowledge of marine electrics, engine management systems and general boat systems. You must work to the highest standards un-supervised and take responsibility for your work, an uncompromising approach to quality of work and customer satisfaction is required. You must ideally reside local to our Southampton office which will be the main place of work, although operating from other branches may be required. The job is based mainly along the South coast, however when required travel within the UK and overseas with nights away is a requirement for this position.
