Major Account Service Responsibilities (75%)

Manage the installation and commissioning of products within the Main Account factory.  (~75 installations per year)
Provide continuous installation training to Main Account internal staff
Manage warranty vs. non-warranty service intervention.  In the case of non-warranty, provide in depth document outlining cause of failure and the costs associated with intervention.  


Field Service Responsibilities (25%)

Plans service case intervention after initial instruction from the Global Field Service Manager or the Service Coordinator.  This includes, but is not limited to:
Contact vessel owner / operator and gather data and information relating to the case.
Assemble a list of all parts and tools needed to resolve the service case the first time to avoid additional visits to the case.
Ensure shipping of parts and tools to aid in the case issue.
Arrange travel to the case.
Inform Global Field Service Manager and Service Coordinator of steps taken and all travel arrangements.
Carry out service intervention in accordance with Company procedures.
Collect all data needed to present to engineering on completion of the intervention. This should involve a sea trial when possible.
Write a detailed case trip report in accordance with service protocols.
After an agreed amount of time conduct a follow-up with the vessel owner / operator and add any additional information to the case.
Write detailed service and commissioning reports.
Supports team with answering any incoming calls or electronic communication and following up accordingly.
Carries out service work within their designated region. 
The Global Field Service Manager and Service Coordinator will notify the Field Service Technician of the case number and location of the case to be serviced.
Manages cases that the Global Field Service Manager and Service Coordinator assign. 
Case management includes from the time the case is assigned until closure and after when necessary.
File all expense reports within 5 days of returning from a service trip. 
Provide all receipts and documentation to Accounting.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have 5-10 years related experience in the marine industry preferably as an engineer or in the marine electrical field.
The candidate must have a valid passport and be available for both domestic and international travel.
Must be self-motivated, organized and have superior customer service skills.
Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Actively recruit, develop, and manage sub dealers within network
Manage existing distributors in region
Management of boat shows in defined territories
Meeting quarterly and yearly growth targets
Management of all OEM accounts within region


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must have 5-10 years related sales experience in the marine industry. 
The candidate must have a valid passport and be available for both domestic and international travel of approximately 50%.
