Over the last few years Universal Marina has continued to grow. Having completed the redevelopment of site, the yacht care department continues to expand rapidly. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with three of more years experience in the boat maintenance industry to join our dynamic team. 

The role is extremely variable and incorporates many different aspects of boat service and repair works. Your role would be to support the department manager, supervisor and technicians with a clear focus on effective procurement, supplier management, estimating and customer satisfaction.  You will also carry out a variety of hands on yacht technician tasks. 

Although much of this role will be office-based, we require a 'hands on' ability in all our team members to allow us to meet strict deadlines and maintain a high work output. 

The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following requirements:
 Strong yacht maintenance experience, minimum 3 years
 Excellent working knowledge of sourcing/specifying marine products
 Excellent time management skills
 Highly organised individual
Customer focused with very strong communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and resources 
Excellent IT skills to work with Universal Marina's new work management system as well as     recent experience with Microsoft office
Self motivated, positive thinking team player
Carry out all works whether in the office or on the vessels in a prompt and professional manor
 Accurately fill out your time sheets daily and ensure that you charge all billable hours to the correct jobs.  
Ensure that the yard and work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe
Complete all training as required by the company
Work the hours required to meet customer deadlines, including occasional evening and weekend hours
Maintain the company dress code
 Liaise with the customers in a polite professional manor
Work in accordance with the company's code of practice
Carry out all work reasonably requested of you.
