JOB DESCRIPTION

We are needing to appoint a new Production/Factory manager to take charge of our production facility, which is based in Wincanton Somerset. Henshaw Inflatables Ltd are a leading manufacturer of Inflatable products for the Marine Industry and have a factory staff in excess of 45 people.

General responsibilities and skills will be as follows:-

Planning and organising production shcedules, with the ability to prioritise workloads and plan effectively.
Overseeing production processes and liasing with purchasing and sales departments.
Managing workforce and identifying training needs.
Ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are followed.
Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
Problem solving and fault finding.


In particular we are looking for an individual who has a high degree of skill in the management of people, to be confident, motivated, able to use their initiative and enjoy a challenge.

Salary will be dependant on experience and will be in the region of £28,000 to £32,000 plus usual benefits. Possible re-location help may be available.
