Golden Arrow Marine is a specialist marine power, systems and equipment supplier and is part of the Salterns Marina Ltd group. We are opening a new branch in the prestigious redeveloped Chichester Marina boatyard. This branch will be official Volvo Penta, Honda, Perkins and ZF marine dealers. It will be targeting the thousands of boats in Chichester harbour and further afield. Supported by the 3 other branches of Golden Arrow Marine it is expected to be a significant addition to the company.

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Marine Engineer to carry out service, repair and overhaul work on site and at our workshop.

To be successful in this role you will require broad experience of equipment and systems on boats of up to 30m and  must have recent Volvo Penta certified training, this is a critical criteria of the job.
Experience on other engine and gearbox brands we represent will be an advantage.
You must have excellent problem solving and diagnostic capabilities together with knowledge of marine electrics, engine management systems and general boat systems.
You must work to the highest standards un-supervised, take great pride in your work and be responsible, an uncompromising approach to quality of work and customer satisfaction is required.


Working from our Chichester branch the job is based mainly in Chichester harbour, however you will be called upon to assist other branches and carry out work along the South coast. When required travel further afield within the UK and overseas with nights away is a requirement for this position.
