Working with MD and others to identify stock items into correct engine application
Locating previous or existing customers of such stock using our Fathom database
Identifying other engine users using Fairplay database
Locating the technical managers and/or manager of the vessels
Obtaining correct contact details for same
Emailing offers to customers
Following-up initial Email contact with telephone contact.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A very successful boat yard based in Devon is looking to recruit a yacht restorer who can do the following;


  • Hull and topside Gelcoat restoration/repair
  • Antifoul preparation and application
  • Outdrive and Stern Gear refurbishment 
  • Teak deck restoration


It would be advantageous if the successful candidate is able to prepare and understand the requirements for quotes on potential work. 

Purpose

  • You will be required to carry out work allocated from the appropriate manager  
  • All vessels will be up to 15m in length and of any type of craft such as Ribs, Power boats and yachts
  • You will be expected to have good time management for carrying out repairs and replacements 
  • Duties will include carrying out other boatyard activities as and when required


All applicants must have experience in yacht restoration and have transferrable skills which compliment colleagues already there.  All must be confident, well motivated, up for a challenge, enjoy working in a small boatyard with a small, friendly, well motivated team.
