JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client, a leading New Boat Sales and Brokerage Company with a number of Luxury Brands and a large Brokerage Portfolio are recruiting for an experienced Yacht Maintenance Technician with Management experience to become their new Service Manager.  

The successful candidate will be tasked with running and expanding the department as if it were their own business.

The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in all aspects of yacht maintenance and repair including, GRP repairs, Gel-coat Repairs, valeting, rigging, commissioning, basic engine maintenance, and general boat preparation.
Able to introduce proven processes and systems to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Be customer facing.
Provide consistent and accurate quotes 
Manage a small team of yacht technicians 
Have a basic understanding of P&L accounts, 
able to deal with contractors
Have experience of scheduling.
