The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of product design in agreement with the Sales Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and design engineering team
  • Liaise with the Sales Director on all new product development and manage projects to deliver on time
  • Design new innovative products to an agreed cost and style
  • Support the Sales team as necessary with technical assistance by drawing support or technical information

SKI HOLIDAY SALES ADVISOR - SOUTHAMPTON, UK

At A Glance
This is an important role in our team and offers a varied and challenging opportunity to develop in the travel industry.  The role involves working as part of the call centre sales team to drive sales across the busy winter season and maximise sales opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Report to Sales Team Leader in respect to sales performance
Sales elements (to be involved and assist with)
  • Take incoming call and assist customers in choosing and booking holidays.
  • To work to targets to ensure maximum sales revenue and margins.
  • Administration related to customers holidays.
  • Use internal computer packages to make reservations, administer bookings/queries, make amendments, or reply to customer correspondence
  • Action/complete all administration using internal pc system including client accounts, ticketing and post travel feedback.
  • Escalate to all relevant areas, key issues in line with company procedures
  • Minimise losses to the Company through due diligence
  • To deal with clients who request customer service assistance, processing complaints.
  • Assist with manning of Company out of hours 'on call' rota as required to assist customers on departure
  • Represent company at key marketing events e.g. ski shows
  • Process all administration within Company, Insurers and ABTA guidelines and timescales
Key Skills and attributes
  • You will be completely comfortable selling over the telephone and be genuinely motivated by the sales process.
  • You will be enthusiastic and self motivated with a desire to learn and take responsibility, definitely a can do attitude, whilst understanding how to prioritise.
  • Excellent computer skills and web familiarity
  • Ability to prioritize and recognise limitations of capacity to achieve deadlines

MARINA MAINTENANCE/ASSISTANT DOCKMASTER - £16-22K - SARISBURY GREEN, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Over the last few years Universal Marina has continued to grow, having completed the redevelopment of site and having recently bought the lifting & launching services in house the marina is busier than ever. We are looking for an additional member of staff to join our energetic team to help us ensure that Universal keeps its reputation for being the best kept marina on the Hamble.

The role is extremely dynamic and incorporates many different aspects of the day to day running of the marina such as daily marina checks, assisting bertholders and tenants, general site and building maintenance, site redevelopment projects and upholding site cleanliness. There is also some office-based work including booking in & taking payment for visitor berthing. You will also be required to assist with our increasingly popular dry stacking facility for which we will provide full forklift and banksman training. A large part of this role is outdoor based in year round conditions.

The applicant should have experience in maintenance and a keen eye for detail, be able to work as part of a team but also have the initiative & motivation to complete tasks on their own. As the role is so varied the successful applicant should be adaptable to new tasks & resourceful in finding solutions to different issues. A knowledge of the marine industry would be an advantage but not essential. Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft packages.

SALARY

There will be some weekend work involved, on a rota basis.
Holiday: 20 days + Bank Holidays.
Salary based on experience, between £16 - 22k
