JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator is responsible for architect and design coordination, supervision and inspections of public and crew areas, staterooms, stairways and backhouse areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review of architect drawings and other architectural documentation and material
- Coordinate communications with architects, shipyard, suppliers and consultants.
- Support of new build contract specification process.
- Follow-up and reporting of building progress and overall responsibility for all outfitting works.
- Holds operational inspections and leads interior supervision team.
- Coordinate mock-up and factory inspections.
- Ensures compliance with authorities.
- Coordinates modifications with architects as necessary.
- Assists Owner Supply and Yard Related items coordination.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Relevant education in the field of design and architecture.
- Experience from new building site surveys
- Strong teambuilder skills.
- Excellent English communication skills (both wirtten and verbal), other languages as an advantage.
- Relevant computer skills (excel, AutoCAD, word, powerpoint).
- Experience of cruise shipbuilding and design.
- Ability to read and update drawings to a high standard.
- Positive and open in communication and co-operation in multicultural environment.
- Ability to work on simultaneously projects and multiple locations.
- Willingness to travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years in the field of cruise ship design and architecture or other complex building project.
SALARY
€75,000pa + bonus
