JOB DESCRIPTION

There is an exciting opportunity to be part of the RNLI’s Coastal Safety team which is the third strand of the Concept of Operations. Simply put, you will be saving lives at sea by developing an effective set of Coastal Safety programmes and campaigns delivered to the Regional Operations Managers or Marketing teams and external partners in order to educate in the risks of being in the marine environment.

Working closely with the Audience Manager (Coastal Safety), you will provide subject matter expertise in a variety of Marine Leisure activities ensuring products maximise their efficiency in meeting the department’s aims. You will support the Regional Coastal Safety Delivery teams and external partners with agreed products. You will actively seek new opportunities for the RNLI’s expertise in this area.

Internally you will work closely with other areas of the RNLI as well as maintaining effective working partnerships with key areas among appropriate marine organisations externally. You will research the effectiveness of current and future programmes and campaigns on changing behaviour among marine leisure audiences in liaison with Operations Research Unit and have management of a budget for marine leisure programmes.

SALARY

£28,685 per annum
