JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a specialist marine safety company in Scotland supplying the commercial marine and offshore industries.
They are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their expanding team in Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing and new business relationships.  You will closely liaise with the company Operations Manager, and co-ordinate activities to ensure that all new leads are followed up and maximum sales opportunities are won.

Candidates must:

Have experience of sales within the Oil and Gas Market, preferably within the shipping and maritime industries
Be based locally, or be happy to relocate on a permanent basis
Have a good technical sales background
Be capable of building relationships with current and future clients


Key Responsibilities:

Promote good client relations with existing and future clients.
Provide information to clients to help them meet their specific requirements.
Prepare and deliver quotations.
Establish and maintain high standards of technical, product and operational knowledge.
Update company database with fixed prices.
Handle and resolve customer complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Advise the Operations Manager of opportunities or enquiries for new business

SALARY

£20,000 - £30,000pa depending on experience
