SALARY
This is a non salaried position. Interns receive approximately £20,000-£25,000 worth of RYA & MCA Training during their 14-month programme with us.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for motivated adults seeking a change in career and a head start in the sailing, powerboat or super yacht industry. Candidates should have either a background in sailing/water sports or a professional background in a skilled trade (engineering, building, electrics, carpentry etc.)
Successful Interns emerge from us after 14-months with a host of qualifications including (but not limited to);
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence
- RYA Advanced Powerboat Certificate of Competence
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
- RYA PWC Instructor
- RYA Keelboat Instructor
- BSAC Boat handling Instructor
There are also opportunities to crew in high profile yacht race events in the UK and Caribbean, drive Honda race boat experiences and teach sailing and power boating.
