Position:
Product Designer has the responsibility to provide accurate technical information for the Production and Sales Departments.
Product Designer has the responsibility to provide accurate technical information for the Production and Sales Departments.
They will be responsible for working with the Company drawing office procedures. The role also encompassed the development of 3D shaped surfaces and reducing these to 2D cutting files. Would be an advantage to have relevant fabric patterning skills
- To provide a technical drawing service using CAD and free drawn tools
- To collect accurate dimensions from samples and site visits.
- To provide a customer support service for the company's customers
- To ensure information on the company database is accurate and up-to date.
- To identify customer specifications
- To develop 3D fabric shapes and patterns these to 2D.
- To use the CAD tools, including AutoCAD and Solidworks to prepare drawings and cut files for production and sub-contract manufacture
- To assist technical estimator
