A Membership Executive is required to join a team reporting to the Member Relations Manager at our client’s Surrey HQ. the role of the Membership Exec is to retain, recruit and support members of this well-established maritime association.
The ideal candidate will come from either an account manager or client relationship management background, have strong marketing skills and a passion for the marine industry. Our client is looking for enthusiastic candidates who will bring a fresh perspective and breathe new life into the member programme.
You will be a confident ambassador for the association, promoting the many services they provide to their Nationwide network of marine businesses.
Essential
• Team player with personal drive, initiative and discipline to work unsupervised
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Customer service & retention experience
• Good interpersonal skills; a credible and professional manner
• Computer literate with understanding of Microsoft packages
• Willingness to attend consumer/trade shows
• Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
• Development and implementation of a programme of member retention activity
• Organisation of events to aid recruitment and retention
• Promoting services to ensure members get the most out of their membership and value for money
• Responding to member queries efficiently and effectively, going the extra mile
• Delivering marketing initiatives on behalf of the association including but not limited to brochures, websites, social media and events
• Work with internal departments to ensure 2 way communication and understanding of benefits and services
• Establish relationships with relevant stakeholder organisations such as LEPs, RYA, MCA and navigation authorities
Remuneration
£28,000 plus generous benefits
