A busy South-Coast based boatbuilder is experiencing continued growth, requiring the need expand its workforce to cope with demand.
In this instance, this brand is seeking to employ a Senior/Lead Test Engineer to lead team and oversee the final stages of their production process, ensuring quality standards are met, systems are correctly installed and the related documentation completed and provided to the related departments.
You will guide each yacht through the production process of final testing and sea trials, working to compile snagging lists and ensuring all on board systems work to their desired standard and are in keeping with customer expectations.
Your team will be made up of a multitude of different trades, who under your guidance will focus on their own specific test function, reporting back to you to compile your reports.
As an individual you will be a highly skilled boatbuilder, with experience that covers:
– Laminating/Finishing
– Carpentry
– Electrical
– Engineering
– Carpentry
– Electrical
– Engineering
You'll also hold an in-date Commercial Yachtmaster and CHF certificate, both required for insurance purposes.
