Survitec Group is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to work as part of the UK sales team, achieve the budgeted sales and gross profit for allocated sector accounts within the South East and East Coast of England.  
Role Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage all allocated customer accounts
  • Travel to meet customers face to face is a prerequisite of the role 
  • Responsible for the achievement and delivery of expectations in line with Key Performance Indicators 
  • Responsible for achieving budget for the allocated area 
  • Diary management and planning 
  • Build on existing and develop key customer relationships Understand the market and develop new opportunities and prospect accounts where appropriate 
  • Ensure that all allocated customers continued to be satisfied with the service they receive 
  • Communicate with and support internal Sales colleagues to offer the level of customer service required 
  • Utilise the company IT tools through CRM to help develop the customer knowledge 
  • Promote company products where ever possible 
  • Provide support to other business units as required 
  • Any other duties reasonably requested that are deemed appropriate and commensurate with the level of the post
 
The Requirements:
  • Marine background is preferred; commercial and/or leisure.
  • Full driving licence required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; up to senior management as this is a customer facing role.
  • A passion for product and service based sales in a marine safety environment.
  • Enjoy a challenging role and understand that the role requires constant travel and time spent away from home.
