Are you a motivated, confident and independent ‘people’ person with excellent networking skills?
A Membership Executive is required in the Midlands region to provide support to an established and well respected Maritime Association. Joining a team of four executives who report to The National Membership Manager you will be responsible for retaining, recruiting and supporting members within the Midlands region.
The ideal candidate will come from an account manager or client relationship manager background and be experienced in driving new business. Commercial awareness and a passion for the marine industry is essential. We are looking for candidates who will bring new ideas and inject enthusiasm into our membership programme.
Based predominantly from home you will spend up to three days a week, out in the field, engaging with existing members and recruiting new marine businesses in your region. A vehicle will be provided and, with support from HQ in Surrey, you will work alone engaging with businesses in the leisure and small commercial marine industry.

Essential
· Team player with personal drive, initiative and discipline to work unsupervised
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Sales/customer service & retention experience
· Good interpersonal skills; a credible and professional manner
· Computer literate with understanding of Microsoft packages
· To be flexible in working practices, including willingness to travel, attend consumer/trade shows
· Full UK driving licence

· Promoting services to ensure members get the most out of their membership and value for money

· Ongoing liaison with HQ
· Establish relationships with regional and local organisations such as LEPs, local councils and navigation authorities

Remuneration
£28,000 plus car and generous benefits
