Our client is a successful boat builder based on the South Coast.
 
You will be responsible for managing all marketing and event activity. This includes everything from managing the marketing budget, to sending newsletters and updating social media on a daily basis.
 
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will need to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple activities and ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept informed.
 
Key Duties:
  • Extensive prior event planning, implementation and event wash up
  • Maintain the customer database, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurately segmented.
  • Sponsor management – point of contact and hosting
  • Monitor marketing activity through email campaign reports (opens, click throughs etc.), Google Analytics and follow up with the Sales team to find out how many sales resulted from campaigns/events.
  • Press – writing daily press releases, conducting interviews, ensure results are live
  • Update social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) on a daily basis.
  • Update and review Google Adwords on a daily basis.
  • Update the website as and when required, ensuring it is kept up to date.
  • Write copy for case studies, company brochures and/or press releases.
  • Brand documentation and email signatures, ensure consistent and accurate branding.
  • Plan and organise customer events.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with clients, colleagues and suppliers.
To apply for this role you MUST have the following:
  • Good grasp of email marketing software.
  • Good grasp of WordPress, Google Analytics and Google Adwords.
  • Experience using social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook).
  • Excellent copy writing skills.
  • Experience using design programs (e.g. CorelDraw, InDesign, Photoshop, Gimp).
  • Ability to multi-task and liaise with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
