Following an impressive period of growth and development, a Dorset-based Marine Specialist requires an experience Marine Service Engineer to join their team.
The business is expanding to include a service centre to be based locally to its main offices, and the successful individual will work alongside the sales office in order to ensure that the new site develops and grows in line with the planned expectations of the business.
You will be a trained Engineer/Technician, with either an Apprenticeship or City and Guilds qualification. You'll need to be well presented and of technical mind, and able to work to a high standard at all times.
Required experience includes:
– Inboard/Outboard Servicing and repair – Volvo, Mercruiser, Yamaha and other major brands
– Fault finding experience either manually or using manufacturer tools
– New boat commissioning and rigging
Of benefit would be experience in electronics, fabrication or Fitout, but none of these are essentials.
