Experienced business development sales professional required for our client, a global manufacturer of vehicle coating applications.
You are a professional, determined and dedicated to selling to the leisure marine sector. As the business development manager you will be facilitating the launch of their new Marine Division. These key markets have been identified as the major growth areas for this new product, and your experience of winning and developing business here will be critical to the effort.
As a people person, you build long lasting and fruitful relationships. Working with boat builders, chandleries, and other suppliers and users of Marine Coating Applications, it will be your role to work with the technical teams to change the habits of their target audience.
Based at home, you will be operating in an area covering the Midlands and Southern half of England. Fundamentally your job will be to establish and develop business across the territory, working to a targeted growth plan.
This world leader in the world of vehicle coating applications are now launching an exciting new Marine division, one, where your previous exposure of specification sales to the Marine and Industrial sectors will be considered a huge advantage. These key markets have been identified as the major growth areas for this new product, and your experience of winning and developing business here will be critical to the effort.
Essential to this role:
As the Business Development Manager you will need proven experience of selling into the marine leisure sector – this could be for a variety of product lines as the product you will be selling has multiple applications.
A proven history of selling into the industrial coatings sectors is also beneficial.
Equally as important though will be your approach to the sales process and your ability to win new customers and develop ongoing business from there.
You will have a proven record of 4 years successful sales experience into the Marine sector and live within easy reach of the motorway networks to allow coverage of the territory.
Salary:
£38 – 45k + 20% Bonus + Car + Benefits, the salary is dependent on experience in the Marine Industry.
