We have been working closely with a large name within the Boatbuilding/Shipbuilding industry who are in the process of staffing their latest Shipbuilding project in Saudi Arabia
Responsible for building a wide range of naval vessels, this brand is seeking a supervisor to join the Operations team moving forwards, either on a standard permanent basis, or on rotation. The position is set to start 1st July, but will include some brand specific training prior to the start date
You will be overseeing a wide range of tasks, to include, but not limited to:
– HR Management
– Workshop Mangement
– Compliance assessment and overseeing of the various regulations involved in shipbuilding
– Cost Management
As an individual you will have worked within the defence or shipbuilding sectors before, with a minimum of 5 years experience in an Operational Management level. This could be with one of the major UK facilities or indeed an international Shipbuilder, however you will need to speak fluent English, and be able to travel to the Middle East without issue
Furthermore you will be a degree or equivalent qualified Engineer, and be confident running large teams in
International locations. Man management, an excellent multi-tasker and confidence in your ability to see a project through are all desirable skills.
Salary:
£55-60,000 NET salary plus accommodation and transport
