SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE– GRIFFON HOVERCRAFT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Griffon Hovercraft, part of the Bland Group, design and manufacture hovercraft. It offers its customers the world's largest range of high quality craft, designed by the world's most experienced hovercraft design team. An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Marketing Executive to join this growing organisation. The role is a newly developed role and will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop customer relationships and make presentations to potential clients
• Produce customer correspondence
• Support the Sales & Marketing Manager with tender documentation
• Utilise the website to generate sales and respond positively to all enquiries.
• Responsibility for marketing activities such as new brochures, mail shots, exhibitions, press releases and magazine articles
• Liaise with overseas agents
• Proactively target potential customers and opportunities
• Produce monthly sales reports

Requirements:

• Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management with strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Marine or military experience would be desirable
• Marine/engineering qualification
• Good organisational, planning and communication skills
• Computer literate with good standard in MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Self motivated with high level of drive, enthusiasm and commitment


Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday (occasional weekend travelling)

Closing date: 10 November 2008

SALARY

Up to £30,000 (dependant on experience)
