SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER - UAE - £90,000 - £100,000 pa Approx.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an internationally renowned and award winning company that specialise in the interior design, manufacture and fit out of luxury Superyachts and Megayachts around the world. With their main factory located in Dubai they also have a number of other factories, offices and ongoing current projects situated all over the globe making them a truly international leader in their field.

They are currently recruiting for an Experienced Manager with at least 15 years experience within the luxury yacht interior market to mange all project activities from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing the Tender Department and coordinates to produce estimates, budgets and bills of material through a team of estimators and quantity surveyors.
Managing and coordinating shop drawings, procurement, purchasing, manufacturing, delivery and site installation.
Acting as coordinator for the Company when dealing with Clients, Subcontractors and Consultants.
Maximizing company’s use of assets towards project completion.Acing to minimize outstanding issues with Clients / Consultants regarding project tasks, work quality and completion times.
Managing, organizing and planning all areas related to dealings with Sub-contractors, programming and coordination matters of the Company.
Training subordinates on work procedures and tasks.
Submitting management reports on a monthly basis on matters relating to project tracking, procurement and progress. The reports should identify problem areas and recommend procedures to site progress.
Evaluating workers’ performance as per ISO requirements.Training and documenting the training of new employees as per ISO requirements.
Ensuring that ISO requirements and documentation are maintained and implemented at all times.
Attending Manager’s meetings as needed.
Tracking, supervision and steering of company projects through Project Managers for successful, timely completion.
Debriefing at critical phases or benchmarks, distribute and implement improvements in future designs or continuing phases.
Consistently keep abreast of market trends and construction methods.
Improve and create on processes.
Input feedback relating to Company policy & procedure to continuously seek excellence by improving, refining & modifying procedures.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar or should be a certified Cost Accountant.

They will be commercially oriented with 15 years of professional experience as a site construction manager, contracts manager, quantity surveyor or similar specializing in Interior decoration of either luxury yachts, homes or hotels.

Candidates should have strong experience in project costing and scheduling, preparing responses to proposals, bid preparation, and tendering techniques, contract management as well as procurement management.

Candidates should also be highly flexible & adaptable and have the ability and experience to work effectively with multicultural workforce as well a Have excellent analytical skills & communication skills

SALARY

£90,000 - £100,000 pa Approx. (To be discussed at interview)
