Another fantastic Boat Show Party

This year’s Marine Resources Boat Show Party was held on Thursday evening at Southampton’s popular Wahoo Bar and was again a roaring success.  Exhibitors and their friends flocked in throughout the evening to enjoy a fun packed night.  The lucky fist 200 people through the door were treated to a free drink courtesy of the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show 2011.

This year Marine Resources, the Industries No.1 Marine Recruitment Company, were using the party to raise money for C.R.Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and The Ellen MacArthur Trust by holding a raffle.  £500 was raised for the charities thanks to the party goers buying raffle tickets for the chance to win some of the great prizes that were donated by Element Eyewear, The Ellen MacArthur Trust, Henri Lloyd, Gill, Zhik, Stirrups Country House Hotel, Banana Wharf, Marine Resources, Task Angels and Harken.

James Ward, Managing Director at Marine Resources said ‘It was a really great night, the best so far!  We are always happy to host the event each year which gives everyone and anyone exhibiting at the PSP Southampton Boat Show the chance to come along and really let their hair down and have a lot of fun.  We are already looking forward to next year!’  James went on to say ‘It was really great that we could use the event to help out the two charities.  This is something we want to build on and make even more money for them next year’.

Christina Bassadone from lifestyle management company Task Angels, one of the prize donators said ‘We were thrilled to be asked by James to do our bit at the party to help raise some money, I did not hesitate to offer a day with one of our Angels, and we are really looking forward to spending the day working for Rob Lyne from Allen Brothers who won our prize’

Sailboat Deliveries once again supplied their photographer who has taken some fantastic snaps of the night for all to enjoy and download for free from the Marine Resources website www.marineresources.co.uk from next week, and Printing Crazy did an excellent job as a party partner, ensuring all the Marine Resources team and the bar staff were fully branded up for the evening.

The Marine Resources Boat Show party will be back again next year on the Thursday night of the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
