SAFETY EQUIPMENT SERVICE ENGINEER – SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of marine safety equipment to the leisure and commercial marine industry.

They are currently recruiting for an engineer to join the team to service all the safety equipment products on their client’s vassals whilst they are in dock.  This could include Servicing life rafts, lifeboats, lifejackets, flares and also the working mechanisms of the lifeboats including hydraulics. To ensure all safety equipment meets SOLAS Rules.

Ideally candidates must have some experience with mechanics and hydraulics.  Be computer literate, have the ability to write detailed reports, have some customer facing experience and most importantly be able to work to very tight time scales on their own.

Some Rigging and GRP experience would be beneficial.

Experience in the marine industry and also with marine safety equipment in the past would be ideal.
