CHANDLERY SUPERVISOR - $30,000USDpa – CARIBBEAN

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of the largest and longest standing boatyard and chandlery businesses in the Caribbean. Alongside the chandlery their services include yacht hauling, yard services, refuelling and more. They are constantly growing and have an opening for a chandlery supervisor with a minumum of 5 years industry experience to join their team.

The successful candidate will be keen to move to the Caribbean permanently with a view to becoming chandlery manager in time.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced and knowledgeable chandlery sales person and supervisor.
• Have an extensive knowledge in the fields of yachting equipment purchasing, retail management, and retail business analysis with solid background experience in the field.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic with an eye for detail, and a strong and firm character able to lead a team towards success, with a future goal of becoming store manager

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• A MINIMUM of 5 years experience in the store management and maritime field
• Posses an extensive knowledge in marine products and the maritime market
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (more languages is a plus)
• Self motivated and have the ability to function as a team player
• Knowledge in Counterpoint is an asset
• Yachting and/or sailing experience is a GREAT asset

Visa and flights for the successful candidate will be taken care of by the client who will also assist in finding accommodation.
