TECHNICAL SALES

JOB DESCRIPTION

This pioneering company has developed the product in the Grandprix race sector and is now in the process of rolling out the technology to the Superyacht market and the broader race/cruise markets. Whilst expanding into new markets the business wants to consolidate and maintain its cutting edge position in the grandprix race sector and is looking for a technical sales representative to focus on developing existing/creating new relationships in this area. Specifically this role will be working with syndicates involved in Americas Cup, Volvo, French Open classes, multihulls and maxi's

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with a solid design/engineering background and capable of communicating effectively with professional sailors on the design/development of their rigging systems. You will be an experienced racing sailor with good trade connections and an understanding of the marine rigging/mast industry.

Key responsibilities
- Be the main sales contact for key grandprix race syndicates
- Achieve specified annual sales targets
- Handle sales negotiations
- Act as liaison between customers, Engineering and R&D department to ensure continued development of our grandprix race products to satisfy client expectations and maintain our market leading position in this market

Qualities
- Energetic, dynamic
- Design / engineering, marine industry background
- Experienced international sailor
- Sales experience
- Computer Literate (inc CAD)
- Based Valencia
- Willing to travel
- Preferably EU passport

SALARY

Basic (depending on experience) plus performance related pay
