TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – SOUTH, UK

The role:

A Technical Sales Representative role has arisen with a leading maritime security company that provides a wide range of physical and technical services for the super yacht and marine market.
This Field Sales role will involve marketing, developing and selling the Company's range of security systems for the world’s most prestigious yachts including bespoke access control, electronic locks, CCTV and perimeter protection systems to ship yards, yacht management companies, yacht owner representatives and yacht captains across EMEA region.
This Technical Field sales role will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class. Reporting to the Managing Director, you are fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area.

Essential Requirements:

    * Demonstrable sales experience from within a related marine sector i.e. security projects for new builds and refits of super yacht and commercial vessels.
    * Must have sold via mentioned routes to market, with up to date market knowledge.
    * Technical aptitude.
    * Knowledge of marine industry and its relevant regulations.
    * Ability to assist in translating unique customer’s requirements into technical design requirements
    * Solid technical background
    * Technical project led sales.
    * Practical knowledge of bidding and tendering process
    * New business hunter.
    * Dynamic and energetic.
    * Team orientated.
    * Outstanding communication skills across all levels.
    * Excellent commercial acumen.
    * Autonomous and entrepreneurial approach to sales.
