JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Purpose of role
The job role consists of 20% project management and 80% Technical Administrator
To support Product Development & Engineering with the management, control and reporting on both the ECR/ECN database
To support Product Development & Engineering with the management, control and reporting of the Concession database
To support Product Development & Engineering with the construction and control the BOM for new products
Other responsibilities
Create and update Bills of Materials (BOM) for new products as they are being designed and developed
To manage the release of technical specifications to relevant internal departments
To support Quality, Warranty and Supply Chain departments with requests for technical information
Managing drawing files
Knowledge, skills and ability requirements
BOM structure and function.
ECR/ECN systems.
Good numerical and literacy skills.
Excellent organizational skill
Ability to manage own time.
Excellent Excel and Microsoft office skills.
Ability to complete repetitive tasks
Good experience of business operating systems
Education and Experience
Desirable: Degree level at engineering subject.
Prior experience of engineering systems and processes essential.
Strong administrative skills.
Previous experience of BOM is essential.
