JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is one of the leading Insurance brokers in the Industry, working in the Marine and Commercial market. They are a forever growing company that have big prospects for the future.

They are looking for a Marine Broker; they need somebody to deal with new enquiries and deal with existing clients Marine Insurance requirements.

The role will include having to deal with;

Annual Renewals
Preparation of Submissions to Underwriters
Preparation of Cover Notes to Clients
Checking of Incoming and Outgoing Insurance Documents
Preparing Marine Reports
Specialised Marine Projects
General Correspondence


This role will also require travelling, visiting various existing and new clients.

Liaising with others in the department, the Marine Manager and Director as required on accounts that have both Marine and Commercial Insurances. 

The role will require assisting the Marine Manager and Director in expanding the Marine Department, in both numbers of Accounts and Income.   

The role will be reporting to the Marine Manager, Director and the other company Directors as they require.

The role requires good understanding and experience of the both the domestic and International Marine Market.
