JOB DESCRIPTION

The role is focused on recruitment and retention of members by visiting companies in the region (from Kent-South West).

You will be expected to maintain and grow the level of membership in the region to an annually agreed target and directly address any issues raised and nurture relationships.  This will be achieved by visiting an agreed annual target number of non-member companies to increase membership.

You will plan and participate in various events, functions and other activities in the region and be present at the key Boat Shows including London and Southampton

The candidate must have marine industry knowledge and excellent relationship building and customer service skills. The candidate must also be confident and personable and be able to work on own initiative. Good office skills and the ability to plan own time is also essential.

The role will be home based in the south, the candidate must have appropriate working environment at home and laptop and phone will be provided. The role will require a lot of travelling and travel costs will be covered.
